This is an extremely unconventional sound. I actually made two reeses in harmor but i didnt distort them. I made a pattern with them both having the same midi and then i recorded that. I then distorted and resampled that recording multiple times. This was the end product.

Fireworks- recording fireworks is really strange. There are two distinct things going on with fireworks- the sound of the explosion, and the powerful physical impact our bodies feel when all that sound energy reaches us. Thing is, the mics don’t have any way of capturing that physical impact; they can only record the pop sound of the initial explosion. So what ends up on tape? honestly, it doesn’t sound much different than popping popcorn in your kitchen. Even with my good mics, i think i had to boost the low end a little bit in this recording to make it actually sound more like fireworks than popcorn. But judge for yourself. A whole buddhism ceremony in nepal. The ceremony was open for tourists. In the beginning of the recording monks play plates, drums and horns. In the middle of the recording the monks practice their ceremony with drums and without drums only repeating something that sounds like a mantra. In the end of the recording the monks play plates, drums and horns again. Recorded with zoom h2 in kathmandu in nepal in spring 2015.

I was trying to get some fx for the soundscape of a supermarket riot scene i was doing. For this i recorded the rustling of plastic packets of pasta and rice in my kitchen cupboard. Towards the end i emptied a whole packet of pasta onto the kitchen floor. Recorded using a boss br-600.

Couldn't quite find exactly the sound i was looking for so i made it myself. It's intended to sound like a revolver spin for a video game special move, including a little handling noise at the end. Ratchet recorded with rode ntg4+.

First of all, i cut the two fragment,from two different track, that i wanted for my mix. After, i first worked on the zip sound, which was pretty bad recorded but, after reduced noises, all seemed better ! i made the same thing for the other sound, the falling keys one.
